The John Hutchison Effect

The John Hutchison Effect

What exactly is this amazing Hutchison Effect anyway? Has perhaps John Hutchison tapped the underlying substance of the universe, unlocking potentially vast new resources of free energy? Or does Hutchison have instead a well developed capacity to distract and persuade, to muddle men’s minds? Seeing him standing in his apartment, surrounded by the warm glow radiating from racks of vintage high-voltage electronic equipment, it’s kind of hard to know for sure what to believe.

According to Hutchison himself, the scope of this effect seems fairly all encompassing. Self professed devote of Nikola Tesla, Hutchison’s extensive research includes dabblings with Crystal Batteries, Noble Gas Powered Generators, Zero Point Energy, even Ancient Egypt and famed Atlantis. Perhaps most enigmatic of these would be this self named electromagnetic “effect” with apparently gravity defying fields, and experiments that show various objects, such as solid metal bars, spontaneously warp, fuse or fracture.

With all this wild and unexplained phenomena, uncertainties remain regarding his particularly vague style of technobabble explanation. There are also questions as to why Hutchison has been unable to successfully reproduce similar incredible results in later demonstrations in front of others? Since taking on the role of lone persecuted scientist, he’s pointed toward government conspiracies as the cause of his recent failures. It would appear that along with extreme fringe 9/11 Theorist Judy Wood, Hutchison also suggests some variation of energy ray technology was used to destroy the WTC buildings. This certainly ranks among the weirder 9/11 explanations I’ve encountered… and I’ve encountered quite a few.

Yet whether he is simply a charming snake oil charlatan, or perhaps some genius technological visionary, it can be said John Hutchison certainly has as an engaging personality. Occasionally he is even capable of garnering good press reviews, like this article on his experimental work in Atlantis Rising magazine.

He is absolutely a most eccentric and likable character, a man capable of telling a very convincing story, that somehow makes you just want to believe it’s actually true… If only for his own sake.
